Best Yarn for Crochet Flowers
Cotton yarn is ideal for crochet flowers, thanks to its durability and great stitch definition. It also creates a stiffer fabric that will help the flowers hold their shape. I do recommend you lightly block your daisies to give them a smooth finish.
You can use any yarn you have at hand for the daisy flowers. Make sure you match your hook to the yarn weight.
- Fingering or sportsweight yarn, use a 3 mm or a 3.5 mm crochet hook
- Dk weight yarn, use a 4 mm crochet hook
- Worsted weight yarn, use a 4.5 mm hook
