Halloween Crochet Coasters are a Must-Make!
This easy crochet pattern for spooky spiderweb coasters is simple and beginner-friendly. Using basic stitches, it’s a quick and easy project, making it perfect for last-minute Halloween decorating.
To create these spooky coasters, you’ll need to know how to chain, single crochet, and double crochet.
The coasters are both practical and decorative, protecting your surfaces with spooky style. I originally made these for my granddaughters who absolutely love Halloween. When I gave them the coasters, they squealed with delight! Now, every drink in the house has to have a coaster on the table!
You will also have to make my Halloween Garland, with matching spider webs!

Materials Needed
You will need just small amounts of dk cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm crochet hook. Cotton yarn is recommended as it’s the best fiber for absorbency and durability. But any scraps of yarn you have would work well for the coasters.
This easy crochet pattern creates a round circle coaster with a seperate spiderweb design in the center. You can customize your Halloween crochet coasters by playing with different color combinations – try classic orange and black yarn, or go for a more eclectic look with purple and green!
You will attach the crochet spiderweb by sewing it to the center of the coaster, or as I did – use a few drops of fabric glue.

Finishing
I like to lightly block each coaster by steaming for a few seconds. Block each cobweb by using pins on each ‘spoke’, steam gently (or spray with water) and leave to dry.
Place a cobweb on each coaster and attach with a few sewing stitches, using matching thread.
Or alternatively, you can use a fabric glue (or a hot glue gun). Add a few drops of glue to the back of the cobweb and press firmly into the center of the coaster. Leave to dry.
