Sharing is caring!

Looking for a fun Halloween crochet quick project? This crochet spider web pattern is perfect for kids and grown-ups! It’s quick to make with super bulky soft yarn. Kids will love it, and you can add it anywhere for a spooky touch.

My grandchildren absolutely loved these Halloween crochet spider webs. The soft chenille texture makes it especially squishy and soft to touch. They had so much fun playing with it, draping it over their toys, and even using it as part of their Halloween costume play.

Whether you use it as a Halloween coaster, hang it on the wall (check out my Halloween garland!), or let little ones enjoy its cuddly texture, this spider web is a fast easy project that’s sure to be a hit!

Super Chunky Yarn

For my squishy spider web, I used King Cole – Warm & Toastie yarn with an 8 mm crochet hook. Any super bulky or super chunky yarn will work great for this pattern.

The bulky yarn means this spider web works up incredibly fast – I had some spooky halloween decorations ready in no time!

You can make a spider web of any size. Use a smaller hook and thinner yarn for a lacy web, or a thicker yarn like worsted weight and a matching hook. This pattern is very flexible, so have fun and get creative!
