Best Yarn for a Crochet Summer Scarf

When it comes to choosing the right yarn for a summer crochet scarf, you’ll want to choose a light-weight yarn, so that your scarf doesn’t feel too hot or heavy to wear in warmer weather. Natural fibers such as cotton, linen, and bamboo are great choices for summer scarves, as they are soft, cool, and comfortable.

I recommend using a cotton yarn in a DK or sport weight. Cotton is a classic choice for summer crochet projects, as it is soft and absorbent, and comes in a wide range of colors.

A DK or sport weight yarn is perfect for this project, as it will create a lightweight fabric that drapes beautifully and won’t weigh you down.
