Vintage Flower Crochet Blanket Pattern

Sharing is caring!

I wanted to share this bright and appealing Crochet Blanket in vintage flower colours, using a puff stitch to create a gorgeous square with texture.

The easy joining technique explained within the pattern makes this blanket a pleasure to crochet. Plus a helpful photo tutorial and a crochet chart for the square, is provided to explain any tricky parts!

The finished blanket measures 34 x 40 inches.

I have also made some more versions of this blanket, including  the one pictured below.  I used black to frame the squares for a Retro 70’s colour palette.

This version was made in fresh Spring-like colours.

Check out the HUGE colour selection in Stylecraft DK (available widely). Just remember to get 2 balls in your main colour and 5 balls in your chosen contrast shades to make a blanket in a similar size. You could, of course, get more yarn and make a bigger blanket!

  1. Hi beautiful pattern and I have so enjoyed this project. However I contacted you regarding the last row of the border and have received no response, so I have had to finish the blanket not quite as it should be. A reply would have been great!
