How to crochet easy dish cloths – you will be able to whip a few up in an evening! This pattern uses a simple textured stitch – double crochet and single crochet, so it is perfect for beginners.
I love how cheerful they look in bright colours. You only need small amounts of cotton yarn in worsted weight (aran weight) so have a look through your stash and see what you can find!

Crochet dish cloths (you could also use them as wash cloths) make lovely gifts – just add a nice bar of soap and some wrapping, and you have a very welcome gift for a house warming, a birthday present or a teacher gift.
They are an easy crochet project to pop in your bag and crochet a few rows when out and about.
