I have a gorgeous free shawl pattern to share with you today! The instructions show you how to crochet this cosy crochet wrap, that will brighten up any outfit. I think the mustard shade looks great with denim.
An easy enjoyable repetitive pattern for a crochet shawl in rows of double crochet, with contrast rows in a textured puff stitch that looks like Jewels. Yarn used is a soft sports weight Alpaca. You can have fun choosing your own contrast colours for the ‘Jewel’ rows from your stash…you only need a small amount of yarn. This design was originally published in I Like Crochet
It was one of their Top patterns for 2018!
Don’t forget to Pin this pattern for later!

Make 3 tassels in any contrast colors of your choice. Use a book or notebook approx. 6” in width. Cut a 12” length of yarn and lay across top of book – this will be used to tie top of tassel.
Wrap yarn around book approx. 16-20 times. Using the 12” tie, knot top of tassel tightly. Cut tassel at opposite end. Cut another length of yarn and wrap around tassel 1” from top 5 times and knot ends together.
