Tassel Instructions

Use any contrast colours of your choice to make your tassels. Take a notebook approx. 4.5 – 5” in width, cut a 12” length of yarn and lay across top of book – this will be used to tie top of tassel.

Wrap yarn around book approx. 20 times (depends how thick you like your tassel)

Using the 12” tie, knot top of tassel tightly. Cut tassel at opposite end.

Cut another length of yarn and wrap around tassel 0.5” from top 4 times and knot ends together.

Trim if needed and attach to picot at tip of motif, sewing securely.

I hope you enjoy making this quick and easy Christmas Tassel Star. Perfect for hanging on your tree, or stringing together to make a garland.
