A Free Crochet Lace Bandana Pattern for Beginners
This filet lace crochet bandana works up in simple rows of double crochet and chain spaces. It is a really easy stitch to get into a rhythm with. I used a similar stitch in my crochet neck scarf. The triangle shape grows quickly and the delicate scalloped border gives it that lovely finishing touch.
It’s the kind of pattern you can pick up and put down easily, which makes it perfect for summer – whether you’re crocheting in the garden or bringing it along on holiday.
You can wear it as a head scarf tied at the back, or as a crochet neckerchief for a fun boho accessory look.

Yarn & Colors for Summer Lace Crochet Bandana
For this summer lace bandana I used a 100% cotton DK weight yarn that is lightweight, breathable and perfect for warm weather accessories. You only need about 35g per bandana, making it a brilliant stash-busting project. Any DK weight cotton yarn and a 4mm hook will work beautifully.
I made three versions in the most gorgeous soft, feminine shades with a botanical feel – a dusty vintage pink, a fresh botanical green, and a warm neutral beige that goes with everything. Together they look like a little summer collection. Dig into your stash and choose shades that make you happy!
