Spring is the perfect time to make light scarfs that are easy to wear and versatile in style. This Crochet Skinny Scarf Pattern is fun and fast to work up, and the addition of a touch of cream lace gives an elegant and Vintage Vibe.
I received some luxurious cotton silk yarn from King Cole recently, called Finesse Cotton Silk DK. Available in 10 fashionable vintage shades from King Cole. It is 77% Cotton, 23% Silk and is perfect for accessories. You can get the yarn in so many colours, so you will have plenty to choose from! Find your local stockists here
The Skinny Crochet Scarf is made using 2 colours of Finesse Cotton Silk DK, and I added a small amount of cream yarn from my stash for the final row. I love the addition of the cream lace, it gives a touch of elegance and nostalgia to the finished scarf! I used some Scheepjes Stonewashed yarn in cream for the final edge, but you could use any DK weight yarn you have to hand.
This Crochet Skinny Scarf Pattern works length-wise to create lovely long rows that are fast and relaxing to work up. The 2-row stitch pattern is easy and quick to crochet, and gives a lovely texture to the piece. You can make this scarf in any yarn you choose and matching hook. You can also make your scarf wider if you prefer, by crocheting extra rows.
