Bold does not always mean color though, sometimes it is a striking design or a statement shape, and you will see plenty of that in this collection too.
When I am designing a crochet pattern, I usually start with color first, sometimes even before choosing the stitch pattern. I like pulling together shades that would not normally sit together, and seeing how they work as a whole piece. It is part of what makes each pattern feel like mine, and it is my favorite part of designing!
