Bláithín Blanket Scrap Busting CAL
Annie Design Crochet and Green Elephant Yarn have brought their crafty skills together to bring you the Bláithín (Blaw-heen) Blanket Club and Mystery Crochet-A-Long.
Bláithín is a beautiful Irish word meaning flower. You pronounce it Blaw-heen. Isn’t it lovely? Now try and say it!
Over the course of the club you will receive 6 colour gradients, mixed each month and combined by you along with a semi-solid grey to make a beautifully colourful finished blanket by the end of the year.
Each month you will receive 200g/500m of yarn and 2 flower inspired crochet square motif patterns, exclusively designed for the club by me!

I have carefully written the patterns to be suitable for all skill levels and each square pattern includes a helpful photo tutorial for every round….always helpful to keep you on track! Month 4 has just been shipped, so it is a surprise but here are peeks of Month’s 1, 2 & 3. It is going to look amazing when finished.

I just ‘found’ this lovely CAL a few days ago, and the only square I’ve seen so far is the Bramble Square. I’d love to get the other “first month” squares – how do I get them?
Unfortunately, my budget does not allow me to join “yarn clubs”, and programs like that. I was led to believe that patterns would be free – IF we are willing to wait for each pattern to be published. And I’ve LOOKED several times – and it seems that it said next installment would be available and published on Sept. 30. So where are all the other patterns shown above that are listed as week 1, etc.? In fact, because of extremely high medical bills right now, I will have to find enough yarn in my stash.
If these patterns are already available on website, can you please send a link so I can find them?
I just LOVE patterns like this because of all the color changes and “other than common” stitches used, it’s more challenging and so much more fun to do! I do hope I can get all of the patterns! Because of recent and ongoing medical problems, I desperately need a “distraction” like this beautiful blanket. Crochet, I think, is sometimes provides more relief from pain and stress than any medicine around!
