Modern Crochet Blanket Details

This baby blanket uses the Granny Spike Stitch. Check out the photo tutorial and video for this stitch to help you make this pattern.

This  was made for a very special new arrival to my family – a beautiful baby girl named Poppy. Just look how squishy that texture is!

I used a larger than recommended hook, and it created a gorgeous loose drape. The yarn I used, is so soft and beautiful to crochet with. Hobbii Yarn Baby Merino XL
