I am sharing a free pattern today for some sweet Gerbera Crochet Flowers. They are so easy to make and I love the way the petals curl inwards creating a realistic flower!

Perfect for Wedding Favors, party packs, decorating wrapped gifts, or adding to your crochet blankets. Read on for the pattern and have fun making your own flowers!

Don’t forget to add this pattern to your Ravelry Queue

Pattern uses US crochet terms, and you can find UK terms in Abbreviations.

Materials

  • I used scraps of 4 ply/fingering weight cotton yarn for my flowers, but you can use any yarn weight you wish – just use a matching hook.
  • The yarn I used is Scheepjes Catona yarn to make these flowers.
  • My favourite yarn for making flowers is Scheepjes Cotton 8 yarn which has ALL the colours! With excellent stitch definition, this is perfect for smaller projects like these crochet flowers. You can purchase it here Scheepjes Cotton 8
  • 3mm Crochet Hook

If you want to make hair clips, you will need:

  • Bobby Pins/Hair Grips and some felt
  • Glue gun

Suggested hook sizes:

  • DK weight – 3.5mm hook
